I hope this newsletter meets you well. 

I can’t believe it’s June and that we’re almost halfway done with the year. The book club will be meeting in person for the first time this year on Saturday (5th June) to discuss Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi in Abuja, more details will be announced later during the week for anyone interested.

This month we’ll be reading Manchester Happened by Jennifer Makumbi with the club. It is a collection of short stories told with empathy, humour and compassion about Ugandans who choose to make England their home.

Our June box will contain the following: Manchester Happened by Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi, bookmarks, sticky tab and a monthly special item (book sleeve), delivery and a personal book recommendation (sent to your email) for N13,500 (club members) and N16,500 (non members).

The book sleeves are also available for sale. The medium size which fits a regular sized paperback, iPad mini and a kindle is available for N1,500 while the large fits a regular sized hardback and an 11” iPad is available for N2,000 and both are available for N3,000.
