Introducing...

Hi,

Firstly, thank you so much for expressing an interest in this, it means a lot. That interest has awarded you the privilege of being the first to find out exactly what I’ve been working on these past few months.

There’s so much joy in reading and it saddens me that it isn’t so for a lot people. So for a while now, I’ve thought of ways to see how I could make it more enjoyable and an interesting experience that they would want to repeat and look forward to. I then remembered the one thing I enjoy more than reading itself, BOOKMAIL! The thought of receiving a book or any bookish item brings me immense joy that I would love others to experience as well. Besides all the joy it brings, I’ve realised that it makes me want to read more.

With that, I’m happy to finally introduce Serene Box to you which officially launches on the 1st of April. It’ll majorly be a monthly book subscription service and gift shop for the avid and novice readers out there and new home for our book club (renamed The Serene Book Club).

As I mentioned last month, each interested member will receive a box at the start of the month containing the following: our monthly book of the month, bookmarks, sticky tab and a monthly special item (mug, tote bag, reading journal, tea, etc), delivery and a personal book recommendation (sent to your email) for N13,500. 

April boxes for the book club are almost ready and to receive one please pay the full amount into:

Also, to ensure that you receive a box, please endeavour to pay before the 1st of April as they will be become available to non members soon and stock is limited.

With the new name comes new updates! So starting April physical reviews will be held on the last Saturday of every month in Abuja and cities where 3 or more members reside in. While zoom reviews will be held on the last Sunday for those in cities without enough members and those who couldn’t attend.

Members will need to attend a review at least once every 6 months.

Members will be responsible for purchasing the botm if they’re not interested in the club boxes.
